From September 2010 to February 2014, Mr Scotney was a senior regional recruitment manager for Focus Search & Selection. Here, he worked within the financial services industry, recruiting for several large institutions in the bancassurance, private banking and IFA markets.

Mr Scotney is an award-winning recruiter with an extensive network who is proud of his professionalism and integrity. His key skills within this area include business development, headhunting, account management, talent management, and relationship management.

From August 2008 to September 2010, Mr Scotney worked for Yell as a sales executive, consistently ranking in the top 10% company-wide for new business development and return on investment. His responsibilities included conducting business reviews and planning and selling effective advertising solutions.

Hobbies & Interests

When he’s not working, Mr Scotney enjoys playing golf (he has a handicap of seven), snooker, pool (a sport in which he has represented the country) and squash, as well as playing chess and cooking. He is a fellow of the Institute of Paralegals.
